Log onto www.vitascript.co.za and click create account. complete sign up details and click proceed.

Choose a no profit margin or profit margin account

Look out for an email from VitaScript to verify your email address. The second email confirms that your email verification is successful. The third email asks you to upload certification which can be found in acocunt settings

Once your certification has been approved you will receive the Term & Conditions information to accept. You are now ready to script to your patients.

Log into VitaScript: www.vitascript.co.za

Add your patient: Click Patients > Click Add Patients > Fill in patient details > Click Save and Invite.Refresh screen.

To write the prescription: Click Prescriptions > Click Write Prescriptions > Click Select Patient > Select Patient > Click Add Product. Search the product and click Select/View Product > Click Add to Prescription if you are happy with the choice (please read product details). Once you have completed selecting all products required > Click Close Add Product (top right of screen). Add additional instructions if needed. Click Send prescription once you are happy with the script.

The script will then be emailed to your patient to purchase the product/test.

Login to your VitaScript profile: www.vitascript.co.za.

Click Prescriptions > Click View/Edit Prescriptions.

Select the patient's prescription you want to edit by clicking View/Edit. Add or delete products as required. Once you are happy with the edits made, click Send Prescription.

Please note that patients cannot edit their scripts, only the practitioner is allowed to do this. Alternatively you or your patient can contact the office and we will adjust the order for you.

On VitaScript add yourself as a patient (with a different email address) and allocate your discount accordingly.

Look out for an email invite from VitaGene to activate your account. Follow the instructions.

Now you are registered with VitaScript (as a practitioner) AND VitaGene (as a patient with a different email address).

Either write a script for yourself on VitaScript (discount automatically applied) and you will receive an email from VitaScript to purchase the prescription. Alternatively, log in to VitaGene to choose your products (remember to add your discount code at checkout).

On VitaScript add yourself as a patient with a different email address.

Log into your VitaScript account and click on account settings.

Scroll down to the link for patients to sign up on your website.

Copy this link and add it to your website. This link will allow your patients to register under your profile, straight from your website.

Once your patient has registered, you will receive an email notification. Thereafter, you can log into your VitaScript account and send them a script or allocate a discount if required.

Look out for an email during the first week of each month from accounts@vitascript.co.za with your profit statement.

To claim the amount stated in your profit statement please email a tax invoice including the balance owed to you to accounts@vitascript.co.za.

The invoice must state “Invoice” and be made out to VitaGene (Pty) Ltd. Use the description “VitaScript Fee”. Include your banking details (if it’s your first invoice). If you are VAT registered, ensure your invoice states “Tax Invoice”, include your VAT number on the invoice and add 15% VAT to the amount. Include the following details for VitaGene on your invoice: Address: Unit B1 Tokai Village Centre, Vans Road, Tokai, Cape Town, 7945 and VAT number: 4600284618

NOTE: Practitioners do not have to claim their profit each month and can let it accumulate. When they do claim at a later stage, the amount stated on the invoice needs to be the accumulated amount.

For Google Chrome on Mac, click Chromein the menu bar (top left corner). Click Clear Browsing Data.

Pick a time range, or All time.

Choose what data to clear with the checkboxes.

Click Clear data.

For Firefox on Mac, click History in the menu bar (top left of your screen).

Click Clear Recent History..

Change the time frame suitable.

Choose what data to remove. Click OK.

Open Safari. In the menu bar (top left of your screen) click History. At the bottom of the menu, choose Clear History or choose Safari > Clear History.

Use the drop-down menu to pick what timeframe you want to clear history and cookies from Safari.

Then click Clear History. Along with clearing your Safari history, this also clears your cookies and cache.

Keep in mind that your login details of for websites might not be stored.

Open Google Chrome. Click the menu button (three dots at top right corner).

Then click more Tools > Clear browsing data.

On the Clear browsing data window, select which time range you want to clear.

Put a check beside Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files, and then click Clear data.

Open Mozilla Firefox.

Click the menu button, then select Settings.

Select Privacy & Security, scroll to Cookies and Site Data, and then click Clear Data.

A confirmation box will appear. Click Clear Now to proceed.

Open Microsoft Edge. Click the menu button > Settings (bottom right of screen).

Click Cookies and site permissions, then click manage and delete cookies and sitedata.

Click See all cookies and site data.

Either select Remove all or Remove third-party cookies.
